I bought this and about half a dozen other books on affiliate marketing recently to help design our soon to be launched affiliate program. This was one of the better ones and had several useful gems of insight that made the $12 price for the used copy I bought on Amazon well worth the investment.

Okay, I’ve read a ton of ebooks, such as those you can download for free at free-ebooks.net, and when I download a free ebook I expect to see links ot the author’s affiliate products. Like a tv commerical, that’s the price of admission, which is fine. However, now this tendency to advertise your products and website links in your book is becomng so widespread, virtually every book you read tries to upsell you on the author’s back-end products and services.

Other than the plethora of self promotng ads in this book, the ideas about affiliate marketing are valid and worthwhile to the beginning internet marketer. My one problem with this book is that it is now going on 4 years old–ancient history in internet terms. For a current book on this subject, you may want to check out the one listed below.

Review by for Affiliate Cash Flow Marketing Rating: the contents of the book looked really good and interesting so i was excited to get started. i must say i am quite disappointed after finishing the book. i have to say that 99% of the book was nothing new. it did not talk about any of the different affiliate programs out there as i thought it would. i have studied marketing very little but i knew most of the things in the book just from reading magazines and common sense. after finishing most chapters i felt there should be much more info so it felt very incomplete. also at the end of each chapter the author referred the reader to his own website for more info and details, so i did as he instructed and found that the majority of the links were dead links and the ones that worked only led you to purchase another product ( which the author gets credit for i'm sure ). there was no additional info to follow up as said at the end of the chapters. also in the beginning the author tells the reader to go to an address of the biggest affiliate program out there...???...well the url is a name that had just been registered (at 29 bucks per domain!!)...i eventually did find what he was talking about so i suspect by adding a two letter word in front of the already existing address he's purchased that one for himself. to summarize i will say that it was written well and worth the one idea i got out of it at $9.99, if you pay more you'll be mad...good for beginner but if you have experience in this field then look beyond this book and don't waste your time.

I purchased this book to help me build an Internet affiliate marketing business. I have to say this book provide ZERO information regarding Internet affiliate marketing. The book seems to be a large book of affiliate links for Mr. Hancock. It also seems like a sounding off point for Mr. Hancock to toot his own horn. Your money is better spent elswhere, especially for the 12.99 price.

This book mentions links to tons of traffic sources and business resources, plus step by step instructions on what to do and why to do it. I've only had the book for less than a week and I've already applied several of his techniques for gaining more traffic, setting up better sites, autoresponder forms with the wording he advises, and thank-you pages and what to put on them. I'm seeing more traffic in just the last few days AND a sale that I definitely would not have had without his book! Plus several more subscribers to my autoresponders!

I've read many books on how to start and implement an online business, but this is the best, hands down. Not only does Ewen lay out the foundation in a concise and easy to understand way, but he also inspires and encourages at the same time. He knows exactly what I've been going through and he tells me how to overcome the obstacles. A couple of times I felt like he was peeking in on my life. My opinion? Purchase this book and devour it. Study it. And then, implement it. It will change your life.

There are a couple of issues I have with most internet marketing guides. They are either too technical for a neophyte, or they promise unreasonable returns for the effort.

This book does not suffer from either of those problems. It is straight-forward, concise and relatively easy to implement. I have already begun using some of the strategies and look forward to seeing the fruit of my labor.

If you are looking for a realistic guide to help you break through the clutter that is cyberspace, this book is for you.

I generally avoid resources with titles like this because usually they’re full of self-adulation and pitches for coaching and other products. But Ewen really delivers the goods on how he built a successful online business in affiliate marketing and outlines how others can do it too. Its straight forward and step-by-step in identifying a market, getting online, getting web traffic, and setting up systems.

If you’re already making a good income with affiliate marketing, you may not learn anything new from this book. But for the newcomer to making money online, its a very good guide.

This book is what you'd expect. It's very similar to other books released in this genre. Info is ok, but you walk away feeling it's more of a tool for the author to find new customers than anything else.

The book talks about "mindset," which is important. Ewen's story is interesting. To me, this was the best part of the book and worth the price. If you're looking for a complete, step-by-step blueprint to millions online though, you won't find it here.

The book is divided into roughly six sections:

- Ewen's story
- basics of online marketing
- tools you'll need
- picking your market
- getting traffic
- your offer

In my opinion, the content is too advanced for newbies, yet too basic for those who have been at this for a while. Both will probably get something out of it, but newbies looking for a plan and others looking to get a sneak peak at how Ewen really makes his money will both walk away unsatisfied. There are a lot of missing pieces, even though the book is over 350 pages.

There is some good stuff here, if you can read between the lines. The book is worth the price.

If you're brand new, and can only afford one book, you're much better off with something like Quit Your Job (and Never Go Back) - How to Create, Start, & Market an Online Business for Under $500 in 30 Days or Less, which is specifically for people who are just getting started and want to get online quickly. It doesn't promise as much, but you can't deposit promises in the bank. Real money is what you're after here, not promises.

While the Google site has a thorough range of tutorials, they almost exclusively focus on the MECHANICS of Google adwords: how to do specific, basic tasks. Marshall and Todd's book is focused on STRATEGY: how to get maximum results from your Google ads dollars by understanding how the program works. Big difference. The chapters are short and focused, the writing style is clear and understandable, the case histories are relevant. Given the amount of hype proliferating the Internet and its financial potential, I appreciate the fact that the authors are very grounded and pragmatic about what it takes to succeed with Google. No pie-in-the-sky claims, just straightforward nuts and bolts training! The only criticism is that many of the screen capture shots are too small to be easily legible. Learning to advertise with Google adwords requires a significant learning curve. This book won't necessarily shorten or flatten that curve, but it will enable the committed reader to improve their Google adwords results.
